Toolzy / About
Free file tools that respect your files.
Toolzy started with a simple idea: everyday tasks like merging a PDF or converting an image shouldn't require creating an account, uploading your files to a stranger's server, or paying for a subscription.
What Toolzy is
Toolzy is a set of free, browser-based utilities for working with images, PDFs, and documents. Every tool — Image to PDF, PDF to Image, Merge PDF, Split PDF, Compress PDF, PDF to Word, Word to PDF, PDF to PowerPoint, and Edit PDF — runs entirely on your own device using JavaScript. Nothing you process is ever uploaded to a server.
Why it's built this way
Processing files locally means faster results (no upload/download round trip), stronger privacy (we simply never see your file content), and no need to create an account just to merge two PDFs. It's a deliberate trade-off: the tools are limited to what a browser can reasonably do on its own, in exchange for keeping the experience fast, free, and private by default.
How Toolzy stays free
Toolzy is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. There are no subscriptions, paywalls, or per-file limits on the tools currently offered. Details on how advertising and analytics cookies are used are in our Privacy Policy.
Who's behind it
Toolzy is built and maintained by an independent developer. You can find the developer profile on GitHub.
